It’ll be here before you know it… yes, Christmas is just around the corner, and we at Parklands Community Church have a whole series of events on to make your December that little bit more festive.
December 2, Christmas Crafts: At the start of December, we are offering you the chance to come and make some lovely gifts for Christmas, aimed at children aged 3+. From 2pm to 4pm at The Radio Wing there will be cards and crafts, as well as coffee and cakes, for you to come and try.
December 17, Crib Service: Come and join in as we retell the story of Christmas this Sunday at 11am. No rehearsals or acting skills required!! Feel free to wear your own nativity character costume if you have one (spectators welcome too!).
December 23, Carols and Christingle: We might be a relatively new Church, but at our Carol service tomorrow, we’ll be carrying on a 260 year old tradition of making Christmas Christingles! Join us at The Radio Wing from 4pm, for a family friendly carol service followed by refreshments
December 17 & 24, Carol Singing: Come and join us for some carol singing! Over two Thursday evenings we’ll be out singing in the community from 7pm. One week we’ll be on Locking Parklands, starting near the Muga. The next week we’ll be visiting Flowerdown and Locking Grove. We’re going to be joined by members of St Augustine’s Locking and anyone else is welcome to join in too! We’re hoping to get to wish many of you a Merry Christmas and also hoping the rain holds off!
