Easter is Coming

We’re now less than two weeks away from Easter (as you’ve probably guessed if you’ve got kids on school holidays now), and we’re counting down until the time we remember Jesus’ death and celebrate His resurrection.

On Saturday 20 April at 10am we have our regular monthly Parklands Pop-Up Cafe… but with a difference. As well as our usual cakes and drinks, we’ll have a family-friendly scavenger hunt and hot cross buns!

Then on Sunday 21 April at 11am, join us as we celebrate the Good News of Easter. We’ll start out our morning with bacon rolls, followed by a short service with activities for children.

Both events are held at The Radio Wing.

Pop in for Pop-Up Cafe Mother’s Day

Join us at The Radio Wing on Saturday 16 March from 10am to Noon for the March Parklands Pop Up Cafe. This is a space for people from the community to get to know each other over a cuppa. There’ll also be cakes and cookies available as well as some Mother’s Day Craft activities for children.

40 Acts of generosity for Lent

For Lent this year, members of Parklands Community Church will be taking part in a 40 day generosity challenge! Why not join us, starting on 6 March?

You can sign up for daily challenge e-mails which will help you look for opportunities to bless other people from small to big ways. With so much negativity in our news and social media feeds, why not use these 40 days to share positivity and love instead!

Visit www.40acts.org.uk for more info or to sign up.

February Pop-Up Cafe

This week at our Pop Up Cafe, children will be able to make all sorts of creatures and creations using lollypop sticks and pegs. There’ll be bead jewellery making too.
PLUS we’re trying a new selection of cakes – come along and let us know what you think!

Saturday, 10am-12noon at The Radio Wing.

Explore Together comes to Parklands

This Sunday we’re going to try our first ‘Explore Together’ service as part of our regular Sunday Gathering. There will be different ‘zones’ to help each person, whatever their age, explore a story about Jesus in their own way. So whether you like colouring, chatting, making or reflecting come along at 11am and get involved.

We’re also in possession of a rather large cardboard boat to help us tell our Jesus story from Mark 4 – can you guess which story it is?

“Mark”ing a new series

This Sunday we start our new series on the book of Mark, a book in the Bible all about the life of Jesus. If you’ve ever wanted to know more about who Jesus was, what he did and what that might mean for your own life, why not join us. You can pick up a free copy of Mark to take home too.

11am at The Radio Wing. All welcome
