The Coronavirus/COVID-19 outbreak is currently having an effect on Parklands Community Church and its members, just as it is affecting the UK as a whole. We will be putting any church-specific updates on this page, along with links to resources we find that may be useful.

We have begun to take our first tentative steps towards meeting again on Sunday mornings, although current government guidelines mean what we do when we meet looks very different to the “old normal”.

For now, we are having a Sunday Gathering on the first Sunday of every month. These will be much shorter than normal, socially distanced with no refreshments and, sadly, no singing. Space in the Radio Wing is strictly limited you wish to attend you will need to book a space with Claire via email.

We are continuing, also, to have a Monthly Prayer Evening on the second Sunday of every month. The content and location of this vary from month to month, depending on current guidelines and people’s availability. Again, contact us to check what is happening.

Our Midweek Church on a Thursday night remains unchanged since the height of lockdown, being a Zoom-hosted Bible study.

It does still look, however, like our family events like the Pop Up Cafe are going to be on hold for some time to come, in line with the latest government guidelines. We are looking at all the options to

Since late March, as well as offering practical and spiritual support to people living in our local community, we at Parklands Community Church have been running a series of online alternatives to meeting up including Sunday Bible stories for creative craft and the Monday night pub quiz.
